On April 17, For the Love of 90’s Country, hosted by Alberta Dreams, took over Cook County Saloon in Edmonton for a night built around making Dreams come true. With nearly 1,000 people in attendance and performances from Aaron Pritchett, Bobby Wills, Clayton Bellamy, The Johner Brothers, Tim Hicks, and Julia Vos, the room turned into a full-on celebration of 90’s country, filled with unforgettable singalongs and plenty of boot-stomping fun.
But underneath the nostalgia and the loud choruses, the purpose of the night stayed front and centre. Every ticket, every table, and every sponsor helped fuel Alberta Dreams’ mission of creating meaningful, joy-filled experiences for children across Alberta who are living with severe or life-threatening medical conditions.
By the end of the night, $50,000 was raised! With these funds, at least five dreams will be fulfilled, each one carefully designed around what matters most to the child.
Events like this are not just fundraisers for Alberta Dreams. They are part of how Dreams actually happen. Behind every song and every crowd moment was the reminder that community support turns into something very tangible for families who need it most.
