🎉 Oh, the Joy of Mascots! 🎉

Not every child is built for rides—and Rhys’ family discovered that on his dream come true trip. For Rhys, the magic wasn’t in the roller coasters—it was in the smiles, the singing and dancing, and meeting his favorite characters!

From being part of a parade to countless hugs, Rhys was over the moon. Some of his most magical moments included:

✨ Mayor Clayton’s birthday party (and a special bedtime story from the Mayor himself!)

✨ Playing a role in the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom and Encanto at Epcot

✨ Exploring Dr. Seuss Land and meeting Poppy at DreamWorks

✨ A gentlemanly moment kissing Marilyn Monroe’s hand at Hollywood Studios

✨ Meeting Santa Claus, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, and even Grover!

The family loved the little touches at Give Kids the World Village—in-house laundry, ice cream-scented shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and Dad’s favorite: Dino Nuggets (11/10!). These details made life easier and allowed them to focus on what mattered most: creating memories.

For Rhys’ parents, the biggest gift was seeing their son included in everything. They felt safe, welcomed, and celebrated—not different. No stares, no judgment—just pure joy and acceptance. For the first time, they could relax and enjoy every moment without worry.
