Grace's Dream

🦩 A Wild and Wonderful Adventure! Animals, Ocean Explorations, and Magical Family Memories! 💜✨

Grace is a sweet, determined, and adventurous young girl from Lethbridge who has a special love for animals, music, and spending time with her family!

Living with a rare TCF20 genetic variant, epilepsy, ataxia, and developmental challenges, Grace faces obstacles with coordination, communication, and everyday activities. Despite these challenges, she approaches life with incredible determination, always willing to try new things, even when they aren't easy.

Grace has a wonderfully caring heart and is often the first to offer a hug when someone needs comforting. She loves swimming, drawing, exploring nature, and listening to music. Her favourite colours are pink and purple, and she has a particular fondness for peacocks, flamingos, and butterflies!

When Alberta Dreams learned about Grace's love of animals and adventure, we were thrilled to help make her Dream come true with an unforgettable family trip to Vancouver and Vancouver Island! 🦋💛

The family enjoyed an incredible adventure filled with wildlife encounters, ocean explorations, and precious time together.

One of the highlights was a special guided tour of the Greater Vancouver Zoo, where Grace got to help feed the peacocks and even received a flamingo feather to treasure! The family also enjoyed seeing parrots and exploring the zoo together.

At the Vancouver Aquarium, Grace and her family discovered fascinating marine life, including an interactive touch experience where Grace got to feel a starfish!

Their adventures continued with an exciting whale-watching excursion, where they spotted sea lions gathered along the shoreline of a beautiful island. A scenic ferry ride to Vancouver Island brought even more excitement as the family travelled to visit Grandma and Grandpa!

While visiting her grandparents, Grace enjoyed spending time together, going fishing, and exploring the island's beautiful attractions. A visit to the butterfly house was another special highlight for this animal-loving girl!

As Grace's family shared:

"We had a blast going on our dream trip to Vancouver through Alberta Dreams."

And when asked about their favourite moments, they summed it up beautifully:

"It is hard to pick just a couple of our favorite things. We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about the trip and loved all the excursions that were planned for us."

For Grace and her family, this Dream was about so much more than a vacation. It was an opportunity to explore new places, experience her favourite animals up close, reconnect with loved ones, and create unforgettable memories together.

At Alberta Dreams, we're honoured to have helped bring Grace's Dream to life and hope the joy of this incredible adventure continues to bring smiles to her family for years to come.
