Ella’s Dream

8 year old Ella, diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, was able to live her best life with her mom, dad, and big brother on the warm beaches of Cancun Mexico earlier this spring. Ella’s giggles, smiles, and sheer joy experienced at the beautiful all inclusive resort warmed the hearts of her family as they explored a whole new world creating amazing memories. Though Ella’s illness means that she is mostly nonverbal, she has sever autism, degenerating muscle control and fine motor skills, global developmental delay, and heart issues, nothing could stop her from being in the thick of it all on this adventure. She and her family loved the beach, the sand, the pools, shopping and even had an up close visit with some local dolphins. We think Ella’s smile in this photo says it all!
