Ariane's Dream

Living with Dandy Walker Syndrome affects every aspect of Ariane’s daily life. She is non-verbal, relies on a wheelchair for mobility, and is tube fed. But despite the challenges, she loves to be outdoors camping with the rest of “The Happy Campers”. Tenting was a struggle but they loved it so much that they made it work. Alberta Dreams was thrilled to be able to make camping easier for this amazing teen and her family with a new tent trailer this spring.

Ariane and her family have already been out this year camping and loved their new home away from home. Her mom was thrilled that she no longer needs to worry about keeping Ariane warm enough and dry enough. Grandma loved having a real bed off the ground, real bedding instead of sleeping bags, and not needing to layer up at night. Most of all Ariane love being high off the ground with windows that open up to let in all the light and fresh air that she can peak out and talk to her friends through.
