Dream #1267

This joyful, energetic, and deeply social teenage girl embraces life with enthusiasm, resilience, and an infectious sense of happiness. With constant smiles and laughter, she brings warmth and connection wherever she goes.
She lives with Angelman Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects movement, balance, communication, and development. She is non‑verbal, experiences ataxia and tremors, and manages a seizure disorder. While these challenges require ongoing care, she is considered healthy within the Angelman community and continues to move through life with confidence and determination.
Many individuals with Angelman Syndrome never walk, run, or ride a bike — but she does all three. Her strength and perseverance are remarkable.
She attends a life‑skills‑focused school program where she thrives on routine, loves riding the school bus, and enjoys being part of a group. Music, dancing, animals, outdoor spaces, and parks bring her joy.
More than anything, she loves water. Swimming is where she feels happiest and most at ease. She also lights up around mascots, rides, parades, and Disney characters.
Her dream is to experience the magic and inclusion of Give Kids The World Village with her family — a place designed for children to feel celebrated and fully included. This experience would offer meaningful time to reconnect, heal, and create lasting memories in an environment built around accessibility and joy.
Alberta Dreams is honoured to support a dream that offers connection, inclusion, and unforgettable moments for an extraordinary young person.
