This joyful, determined, and spirited six-year-old approaches life with remarkable resilience and a smile that lights up every room she enters.

Diagnosed in infancy with Costello Syndrome, a rare genetic condition, she has faced numerous surgeries, hospital stays, therapies, and ongoing medical challenges throughout her young life. Despite these obstacles, she continues to thrive with courage, determination, and an undeniable zest for life.

She is fearless, outgoing, and full of personality. She loves being outdoors, spending time with family, making new friends, and participating in activities at school, where she is embraced and celebrated by her community. Though she is nonverbal, she communicates through gestures, signs, and an AAC device she is learning to master.

And above all else, she loves Elmo.

The joy Elmo brings is immediate, genuine, and impossible to miss. Her dream is a family trip to Sesame Place in San Diego, where she can experience the world she loves most in an inclusive and accessible environment. More than a vacation, this dream will provide precious time for her family to create joyful memories together, away from the demands of daily medical care.
