Dream #1268

This bright, spirited, and highly energetic seven‑year‑old boy approaches life with confidence, curiosity, and a deep love for movement and connection.
His early childhood has been shaped by medical complexity. He lives with Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), a rare blood disorder that causes low platelet counts and increases the risk of bruising and bleeding. His care has included ongoing monitoring, medications, IVIG treatments, and blood transfusions.
Despite these challenges, he is thriving.
He is outgoing, loves a challenge, and brings energy into everything he does. He enjoys school, is especially drawn to math — particularly subtraction — and takes pride in learning alongside his peers. Outside of school and dance, he enjoys gaming and spending time outdoors exploring open spaces with his family.
More than anything, he loves Indigenous dance. Through Fancy Dance and traditional styles, he connects to culture, identity, and community. Traveling to Pow Wows and competitions allows him to feel strong, included, and where he belongs.
Competitive dance requires frequent travel. His dream is a tow‑behind trailer — providing safe, consistent access to camping, travel, rest, and meals, so he and his siblings can continue dancing together without barriers.
Alberta Dreams is honoured to support a dream rooted in culture, connection, and the freedom to keep dancing.
