Dream #1257

This wonderful teen has been living with an ultra‑rare progressive genetic disorder, Niemann-Pick Type C, diagnosed in early childhood. It affects his muscles, speech, movement, and cognition, and has led to years of testing, procedures, and ongoing treatments. His journey has been filled with challenges that would overwhelm most—but he continues to meet each day with grit, humour, and a heart that shines.
He is the kind of kid who lights up a room without even trying.
Funny, enthusiastic, and endlessly curious, he has a natural ability to connect with others. He loves sports of every kind, but baseball is where he truly comes alive. He’s a rule‑follower with a gentle spirit, but also a growing teenager discovering independence, confidence, and passions of his own.
Baseball is more than a hobby for him — it’s part of who he is.
At 14, he knows every stat, every trade, every lineup detail the Blue Jays make. He plays second base on his Challenger team and never misses a game if he can help it. When he talks about baseball, he lights up with a joy that cuts through every medical challenge he faces.
And now, he has a dream he once never believed could be possible.
He wishes to attend Blue Jays Spring Training — to watch practices up close, meet the players he admires, and take in the magic of preseason baseball from just steps away. For someone who lives and breathes the sport, this experience would mean everything.
Alberta Dreams is thrilled to help make this once‑in‑a‑lifetime moment possible during the 2027 Spring Training season — a deeply personal, unforgettable opportunity to meet his heroes, feel celebrated, and step into a world he has only ever imagined from afar.
For this young athlete, it isn’t just a trip.
It’s inspiration.
It’s connection.
It’s pure magic — a dream he will talk about for the rest of his life.
