Dream #1253

This journey began long before a first word or first step. At a routine 20‑week ultrasound revealed clubfoot. Soon after birth, challenges multiplied: severe hypoglycemia, hip dysplasia, and weeks in the NICU for early corrective procedures. By eight months old, after months of casting and boots‑and‑bars, her feet relapsed completely, forcing the family to start over. And this would happen more than once.
Across early childhood, there were repeated surgeries, painful serial casting, and countless setbacks. Yet through it all, this remarkable young girl never lost her spark. Despite weak legs, she built extraordinary upper‑body and core strength—strength used to pull her up, to crawl, to walk again, and eventually to discover the thing that changed everything: racing.
At five years old, keeping up with peers became difficult. But then came mini sprint dirt track racing—a sport where focus, determination, and upper‑body strength became superpowers. Behind the wheel of a custom mini sprint, this young racer flies around the track at 50 km/h, competing against older, stronger kids. In only her second season, she placed 2nd locally, 3rd overall, and earned the Sportsmanship Award.
Racing didn’t just become a hobby—it became freedom, confidence, and a place where nothing holds her back.
Now seven, this bold, imaginative, and resilient young athlete loves music, crafting, swimming at the family lake lot, and dreaming bigger every day. her greatest dream is to experience the thrill of a World of Outlaws dirt track race—standing trackside, meeting inspiring drivers, and seeing the world of professional racing up close.
Alberta Dreams is honoured to help make this unforgettable dream a reality for a child who has fought for every milestone and proves every day that they are truly unstoppable.
